+ Registering a Pharmacy.

Welcome to Locum Connect. To Register a Pharmacy, please follow the steps below

  • Click Register from the top right menu and select Pharmacy Registration or select the ”Register Here!” link below the pharmacy icon on the Homepage.
  • Please fill in the required marked with an red asterisks * with professionals information to create a profile.
  • Please fill the eligibility screening questionnaire.
  • Read the ”Terms and Conditions” If the user agrees with the terms and conditions please tick the confirmation box and click ”Register”.
  • Await a response from the administration. Once your account has been approved an email will be sent to the email address submitted.

+ Creating a Locum Shift.

To a Create a locum shift as a pharmacy please follow the steps below.

  • Select ”Login” from the top right menu or the login icon in the center of the screen and login with unique username and password submitted during registration.
  • On the welcome page select the green ”View appointments” icon on the center of the screen.
  • Select the desired date from the bookings page.
  • A pop up screen will appear ”Add new shift” please fill out required fields marked with a red asterisk *. Expenses can be free typed in the description text box with the numerical value placed in the cost box below
  • Further expenses can be added by pressing on the blue ”Add expenses” on the bottom right. Expenses can be removed by clicking the ”-” button (Remove row) and a confirmation box will appear directly above.
  • Click the ”Save” button and the user will be returned to the bookings page where an event will be created on the calendar.

+ To search for a Pharmacist.

To search for a pharmacist please follow the steps below.

  • Select ”Login” from the top right menu or the login icon in the center of the screen and login with unique username and password submitted during registration.
  • On the top right menu select the green search button. A drop down screen will appear please type the pharmacy postcode in the postcode text box and a desired numerical value in the radius text box.
  • Click the green ”Search” box located in the bottom right hand corner of the drop down screen. This will take you to a web page of pharmacists located  within your specified search radius.
  • Scroll down the list and click on green ”Pharmacist details” icon or select appropriate pharmacist from the maps above. This will direct you to the pharmacist page allowing pharmacist administrator to check pharmacist credentials.
  • To message the pharmacist please select the blue ”Message Me” icon located on the top right of the screen or alternatively click the green ”Messages” Link were the user can compose or review received messages.

+ To edit User Details or Change Password.

Please follow the steps below to edit user details or change password.

  • To edit users details select ”Login” from the top right menu or the blue ”Login” icon in the center of the screen and login with unique username and password submitted during registration.
  • On the top right hand corner of the screen ”Currently logged in as:(Username) highlighted in blue. This is a hyper link which will take the user to edit profile page.
  • To Change password or email is located in the first section of the screen ”Change password or email” . The user must enter their password and click the green ”Save Changes” icon below in order to change their email address or password.
  • The ”Edit Profile” is section two of the page.To edit your profile select or type amendments required in section two and select the green ”Save Changes” icon at the bottom of the section. Note No password is required.
  • To View how your profile looks to your clients click the white ” View” tab located on the left of the ”Edit” tab at the left side of the screen.
  • To edit your public profile click the white ” Change profile photo Located right of the ”Edit” tab at the left side of the screen.

+ Registering as a Pharmacist.

  • Await a response from the administration. Once your account has been approved an email will be sent to the email address submitted.

+ How much does it cost?

Locum Connect is free for all users. We thank you for your custom we hope to provide additional services in the future that may be chargeable.

+ To Search for and Book a Locum Shift.

To search for and book a locum shift as a pharmacist please follow the steps below.

  • Select ”Login” from the top right menu or the login icon in the center of the screen and login with unique username and password submitted during registration.
  • On the top right menu select the green search button.
  • Enter the postcode, desired working radius and desired date range and click the search button in the bottom right below the date range search.
  • Select ”Pharmacy Details” green button of the desired pharmacy yielded from the search results.
  • Under the selected pharmacy details the mini calendar located on the right hand side of the page has a key of the dates available. Blue is the current day, red is currently booked and green is available to book.
  • Select the desired available date, a drop down menu appears please read the job description carefully. If the shift is desired select the green ”book” icon
  • A second pop up screen will appear. The screen will display ”Expenses” are listed under the +. The user can ”Continue with booking” to confirm the booking or ”Cancel” to return to the pharmacy user page.
  • When the pharmacist user ”Continue with booking” a confirmation text will be sent to the users mobile and a confirmation email will be sent to both the pharmacist and pharmacy administrator.
  • A calendar event will be created under the ”Your appointments” section located on the users home page.
